Many students from CMU have made their first skydives at Canton
Air Sports. There are three types of jump experiences to choose
from: static line, tandem, or the Accelerated Freefall Program.
Static Line Jumps
- Plane reaches 3,500 feet
- Climb out of the plane and hang from the wing strut
- Parachute is automatically deployed a few seconds after you
let go
- Little or no sensation of freefall
- Easily steer yourself, enjoy the view, and come in for a
radio-assisted landing
